RAF WW2 1941 Pattern Flying Gloves

Gauntlets flying 1941 pattern, stores reference 22c/757/762. Size 81/2.

These are the gloves that replaced the 1933 Pattern Gloves.

The leather is in general excellent condition and the colour match is very good. Both original Lightning brand zips are in good working order and retain leather pull tabs.

The linings are clean and clearly marked with Air Ministry and A.I.D. stamps, the leather on the inside seems to have a differing texture on each glove.

The left hand glove has painted the numbers 772 which I guess would have had some meaning? This could probably be cleaned off?

A very good strong pair of gloves that could be worn.
